Handcrafted with great care, these earthy skull bone earrings feature miniature skull beads carved from genuine Tibetan Yak bone. Each one is unique, full of character.  Resting on top of each skull is a sparkling pink Swarovski crystal and on the bottom, a sterling bead. 
 
These tiny skulls came from a vintage strand of beads from a collection belonging to a very old friend of mine.  I have decided to bring them out and create a few pieces of jewelry with these amazing little beads.  
 
Wrapped in sterling silver wire and finished with sterling silver ear hooks, they dangle just 1 inch.  
 
In traditional Tibetan belief, Yak bone is used to honour life’s cycles and remind us of the beauty in impermanence. These little skulls carry that same soulful energy, a symbol of inner strength, protection, and spiritual connection. They’re deeply rooted in nature and wisdom, perfect for those who find magic in the wild and meaning in the simple.
