You'll receive the exact piece shown in the photos.  As you turn your raw piece of Black Tourmaline in your hand, you will get to know all of its beautiful and unique textures and features.  It is a wonderfully sized specimen for holding, as it's shaped in a way that seems to fit well in the palm of your hand.  If you prefer to use it as a stander, it supports itself on one edge, as you see in the photographs.   It has a large flat surface to rub your thumb against as well as sections with nooks and crannies and some smaller striated sections.
