This beautiful crystal has an incredible orange glow when you hold it up to the light. It's hidden; you don't see it unless you allow the light to travel through this amazing crystal.  Its rich, deep oranges are natural, and it's accented with lighter patterns and darker sections, which I've tried to capture for you with the camera.    The surface is just incredible to hold in the palm of your hand. It has smooth, sweeping areas that feel so glassy, and it's accented with nooks, crannies and areas that can really feel fantastic on the fingertips.  These types of crystals can be helpful when a touch stone is something that helps you to feel more grounded and centred.

Why Does Your Carnelian Have Bumps and Darker Areas?
When Carnelian is polished, the smoother and harder areas develop a glossy finish, but the crystal does not always become perfectly even. Small mineral pockets, natural fractures and softer sections can lift away during polishing, leaving little pits, nooks and textured places behind.  The darker areas are natural mineral inclusions and iron-rich markings held within the Carnelian as it formed. Some appear almost black on the surface, but become surrounded by glowing orange and amber when the crystal is held to the light. These markings are part of the stone’s original formation and give your Carnelian its own landscape, history and personality.
