Measuring 1 and 1/4 inches long by over 1/2 inch deep, this little Amethyst is almost like a mini mountain in the palm of your hand. It has a stunning, polished flat surface that is dense in one section and then opens up to a wider view inside of the gemstone. As you turn it in the light, you are going to discover a tiny rainbow section deep inside and one on the outer edge. There are amazing shades of natural purple mixed with lighter and darker shades. The back has a semi-polished soft matte finish with some textural nooks and crannies to get to know. You can feel a few little bumps where the smooth finish meets the matte.
