Inspired by the last embers of a campfire, when the colours of the coals are receeding from the vibrant oranges and beginning to rest in soft grays, this hand-painted mandala is a reminder of peaceful moments in time when all is quiet.
The dark is coming, and you're ready to rest for the night. The campfire you built is going out, and the first sparkles of the stars in the sky are starting to emerge. You can hear the frogs and crickets chriping and your body knows it is time for rest. That's what the colours of this pendant are all about. They inspire relaxation and peace. It's time for you to let go and just be.
Every dot and brush stroke has been done by hand with thoughts of that relaxation and peace infused into the art. Once it had dried, I applied multiple layers of water-based varnish, ensuring your artwork is protected. Measuring 2 inches in diameter by 1/4 inch deep, it has been painted on a sanded flat disc of smooth birch wood. The bail is handmade using gold plate artisan wire with a brass inner core. As this is a piece of artwork, it is not recommended to wear in the water. Please keep dry.
You can choose to have your pendant on a long knotted cord or a leather cord with a clasp when ordering.
