This is a gorgeous golden brown piece of Amber that has nooks and crannies and so many unique personalities to get to know. There are rich, golden areas mixed with darker earthy tones and lighter golden yellows. A few of the top lighter areas are semi-translucent. It feels smooth to the touch, but there is a bit of texture here and there. Measuring 1 inch by 1 inch and is a unique, one-of-a-kind treasure that is totally natural. This is an authentic piece of Baltic Amber that I have hand-wrapped in sterling silver wire.
Baltic amber is ancient and beautiful, but it’s also delicate. Treat it more like a natural treasure than a stone, and it will last for many years. Amber isn't a fan of the following and you should avoid exposing it to these:
- Extreme cold or heat
- Perfumes, lotions, hairsprays and hand sanitizers
- Any solvents
- Showers, baths, saunas, hot tubs

Baltic amber is fossilized tree resin that formed millions of years ago from ancient trees that once grew in Northern Europe. Over time, the sticky resin hardened and fossilized, eventually washing up along the shores of the Baltic Sea, which is how it gets its name. Unlike crystals or stones, amber is organic in origin, making it lightweight and warm to the touch.
