Inspired by the beautiful blue colours of the northern Canadian Blue Jay, I have hand painted this pendant in varying shades of blue. to bring their beauty into your world.
Every brush stroke is dedicated to their beautiful blue colours and the whispy lighter shades are the feathers they spread open as they take flight into the sky. You will even discover tiny sections painted on the outside of your pendant as well.
Once the paint has fully dried, I've applied several coats of water-based varnish to keep your artwork protected and vibrant for years to come. Measuring 2 inches in diameter by 1/4 inch deep, it has been painted on a sanded flat disc of smooth birch wood. The bail is handmade using silver plate artisan wire with a copper inner core.
