There is a beautiful moment in the northern part of the world, when the seasons seem to overlap.
 
The forest ferns begin turning gold and orange, their leaves reveal their first warm colours, and yet a few determined wildflowers continue blooming beneath them.  Your pendant captures that fleeting moment against a deep black background. Fiery orange and golden yellow fronds curl outward from the centre, surrounded by vivid pinks, like wildflowers that have not yet surrendered to the changing season. Crisp white details represent the brighter stars appearing in the cooling night sky as autumn draws closer, while tiny silvery accents shimmer as your pendant moves.
 
Your hand-painted pendant was inspired by the last colourful days between seasons, when wildflowers still bloom beneath changing ferns and the lengthening nights begin filling with brilliant stars. It is a miniature Northern Ontario autumn scene, painted during that magical pause when summer has not quite said goodbye.
 
Information about your Pendant
Hand-painted using Acrylic paint on a 2-inch birch round wood disc. 
Lightweight and comfortable to wear (approx. 8 to 10 grams).
Gloss varnished for protection but not waterproof. Please keep your pendant dry and wipe it gently with a soft cloth. Don't swim with it or bathe.

Care for your Pendant
Your pendant was hand-painted and finished with a protective coating before leaving my studio. To help preserve its vibrant colours, remove it before swimming, showering, or using household cleaners, and avoid prolonged exposure to water and direct sunlight.  When your pendant isn't being worn, store it in a dry place where it won't rub against other jewelry. If needed, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth.    Treat it with the same care you would any treasured piece of handmade art, and it will continue to brighten your days for years to come.
