I created this one of a kind wooden necklace by hand, painting each petal with layers of rich reds and soft pinks until the rose slowly came to life. The natural birch wood and hand painted design give it a relaxed boho style, while celebrating the beauty of flowers and the changing seasons. Every tiny brushstroke was painted by hand, making this an original piece of wearable art that is completely unique.
 
The necklace you see here is the exact one you'll receive. There are no copies waiting on a shelf, just one small painting created to be worn, treasured, and enjoyed for years to come.  It is signed on the back and there are small accents on the side of your pendant.

Size and Materials:
Measuring 2 inches in diameter and 1/4 inch thick, your pendant is painted on a carefully prepared natural birch wood disc. The handcrafted bail is created from rose gold-plated artisan wire.
 
How is it sealed?
Once the paint on your art pendant has fully dried, several coats of water-based varnish are applied to keep your artwork protected and vibrant for years to come.   
 
How to wear it: 
When ordering, choose the type of necklace you prefer wearing.  The corded necklace with a clasp comes in a variety of lengths (or you can custom order your own size by sending a note with your order) and it has a clasp.  Or you can pick a longer knotted cord that will slip over your head.  Also, you can just order it without a necklace if you have your own to put it on.  
 
Looking after your Pendant
Your pendant was hand-painted and finished with a protective coating before leaving my studio. To help preserve its vibrant colours, remove it before swimming, showering, or using household cleaners, and avoid prolonged exposure to water and direct sunlight.
 
When your pendant isn't being worn, store it in a dry place where it won't rub against other jewelry. If needed, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth.  
 
Treat it with the same care you would any treasured piece of handmade art, and it will continue to brighten your days for years to come.
