Once each winter, beneath a sky filled with stars, the gates of the Ice Kingdom open for the snow fairies’ grandest celebration.
 
Against the midnight black background of your pendant, frosty blues and snowy white details sweep around a luminous centre. The repeating patterns resemble delicate wings, swirling skirts and frozen flowers viewed from above as the fairies dance together inside their enchanted ballroom.
 
The Ice Kingdom Fairy Ball was inspired by a magical winter night when snow fairies gather beneath the moon, dressed in their finest shades of blue and white. Frost flowers decorate the ballroom, tiny wings shimmer beneath the stars and the dancers spin in graceful circles until the first light of morning touches the snow.  Your pendant captures the celebration from above, preserving one enchanted moment from a fairy tale that may be unfolding somewhere deep within the Northern Ontario winter.

Hand-painted using Acrylic paint on a 2-inch birch round wood disc.
Lightweight and comfortable to wear (approx. 8 to 10 grams).
Gloss varnished for protection but not waterproof. Please keep your pendant dry and wipe it gently with a soft cloth. Don't swim with it or bathe.

Care for your Pendant
Your pendant was hand-painted and finished with a protective coating before leaving my studio. To help preserve its vibrant colours, remove it before swimming, showering, or using household cleaners, and avoid prolonged exposure to water and direct sunlight. When your pendant isn't being worn, store it in a dry place where it won't rub against other jewelry. If needed, gently wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Treat it with the same care you would any treasured piece of handmade art, and it will continue to brighten your days for years to come.
